Our Team

Bryan Construction Company is headquartered in Bryan, Texas. Our team is comprised of executives, administrators, project managers, schedulers, and estimators. We pride ourselves on the longevity of our staff. Our project management staff has over 120 years cumulative time with Bryan Construction. Our typical project manager has over 25 years experience of construction project management.

Our field personnel include laborers, craftsmen and supervision. Some have been with Bryan Construction Company for over twenty years. Bryan Construction self performs much of our work. This allows us to have more control over the actual construction schedule. We are capable of self-performing up to forty percent of all work we contract.

Bryan Construction Company has completed projects in all segments of the construction industry. We have performed work from Dallas-Fort Worth to the Rio Grande Valley, from deep East Texas to far West Texas.


Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Officer of Bryan Construction Company, Mr. Ridgway has executive responsibility for all aspects of business operations, and oversight of the construction team. Mr. Ridgway has been with Bryan Construction Company since 1970.

Mr. Ridgway, as CEO, continues to actively participate in every project with which Bryan Construction Company is involved.

Larry earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction from Texas A&M University in 1972. He is a member of Associated General Contractors and has served as Area Chairman and Committee Chairman.



Bob Gilleland has over forty years experience in project estimating, project supervision and management. Mr. Gilleland is the company expert concerning the electrical, instrumentation, and equipment involved in the construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities.

Bob earned a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from Texas A&M University in 1970.


Project Manager/Estimator

Frederick Dodd has over ten years project supervision and management experience. His primary responsibilities are as a Project Manager.

Mr. Dodd has successfully managed various construction contract types including: Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, Construction Management, and Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP). Frederick earned his Bachelor of Science in Construction Science from Texas A&M University.


Project Manager/Estimator

Mr. Ridgway has over twenty-one years design and construction management experience. His areas of expertise include: Contract Management, Estimating, Value-Engineering, Dispute Resolution, and Construction Management.

Jim earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1987. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas.


Safety Officer

David Ridgway is responsible for administering the company safety program including: development and maintenance of company safety manuals; ensures each project site has all OSHA required postings; plans and coordinates all training requirements, including competent person training for all OSHA required categories.

David earned his Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University in 1974. After graduation he served in the US Army for 22 years as an aviator.
